Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Device (BAIID) – A breathalyzer installed in your vehicle that tests your blood alcohol concentration (BAC). If your BAC is above a certain level, you will not be able to start your vehicle.
Breath test – The most popular way to test a person’s BAC. A BAC of 0.08 means there are 0.08 grams of alcohol per 100 milliliters of blood. You’re considered to be under the influence if your BAC is 0.08 or more.
